Beginning with his 25+ years in the hospitality sector, including his 14 years with the luxury hospitality leader and innovator, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, he has held positions such as National Sales Director, Associate Director of Sales, and Director of Sales and Marketing. Over the past 7 years he has successfully led a team of sales executives, communications, and marketing professionals as Director of Sales and Marketing with the Loews Hotels based in Midtown, Atlanta. In this career term, Michael was nominated and granted title of #1 Director of Sales/Marketing for Loews Hotels in 2018.
This in-depth experience has provided him with significant insight into high-end client services and expectations and has provided an edge for him to leverage within his modern-day approach to sales and marketing. In today's fast-paced world, the anticipation of needs is critical in order to deliver client's desires, wishes and needs. Born in Pennsylvania and currently a resident of both Midtown (20 years) and Ellijay, Michael spends his time split between his mountain and city home with his husband, Alexandre, and his Jack Russell terror, Dakota. He has found over his many years of residency here that he has a love for both the livelihood and immersion of the Midtown cityscape but also finds himself home in the North Georgia mountains amongst all the engaging outdoor activities that come with it. Having this dynamic lifestyle and variety of skillsets, Michael and his husband have also enjoyed nearly a decade of mountain-based new construction, and they have more than a handful of successful cabin builds and sales under their belt of their own work.
